Sandra "Pepa" Denton, Cheryl "Salt" Wray, and Deidra "Spinderella" Roper hit up the Rock Goddesses episode of "The Oprah Show" yesterday and they indeed rocked it all the way out.
The ladies dropped some nuggets on how they got started, which other big stars worked at the same first-job as them, and performed a medley of their hits. Read on if you missed it....
Pep and Salt and Spin dished to Oprah about how they got their start. Spin was 16 and her parents weren't feeling her going on the road--until Pepa promised to take care of her. Salt revealed that she and Pep met in college when they were both looking for a job--and they both ended up working a telemarketing job (Oprah's first job as well!). And Martin Lawrence (who used to open for Salt-N-Pepa) and Kid-N-Play worked at the exact same place as them!
The ladies--who wore Rachel Roy and Dolce & Gabbana--performed "Push It," "What A Man," and "Shoop."
BONUS: Sister Sledge was also on the show to perform, and they still look like ya mama's record cover. Gorgeous. They brought out all the women rockers from the show -- Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Salt-N-Pepa, Avril Lavigne and Miley Cyrus -- for "We Are Family."
