Once again a free woman, "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood
was released from the Madison County Jail after a 24 hour overnight stay on Tuesday (December 28).
The television star was accompanied by her mother, Tonya Portwood, and grandmother as the trio left the legal facility following Amber's court appearance.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Portwood was arrested and charged with two counts of a Class D felony for domestic abuse, neglect, and also a misdemeanor for beating up her boyfriend Gary Shirley.
Out on $5000 bail, the incidents stem from an episode on the hit MTV show which aired footage of Amber beating up Gary.
As for her jail stay, insiders tell that the troubled young lady had to spend the night in jail with four other cell mates, and that she slept on the floor on a standard jail mat.
