Justin Bieber Says 'Girlfriends Are Trouble'

Pop star admits he doesn't have much time for dating right now.

Now that Justin Bieber properly took over the VMAs, lined up a bunch of projects and even announced the release date for his forthcoming 3-D movie, one might think he would want to find that special someone to share his days with. But just moments after winning his Best New Artist VMA on Sunday, the 16-year-old megastar explained that he's too busy for love right now.

"I mean, girlfriends are trouble at this age," he explained to MTV News. "Girls are fun to hang out with but, like, having that one steady girl ... we're constantly traveling and one girl's not gonna really [work]. You can't really have one girl. I don't really have any crushes at the moment."

With so much going on in his life, the "U Smile" singer is just trying to balance his career and personal life. "Right now, the best thing is [that we're] just teenagers having fun doing what we love," he explained. "We're just staying ourselves and remaining humble."

With his "Never Say Never" collaborator Jaden Smith by his side, Bieber revealed that he and the Smith family may work together again in the future, with Bieber possibly working with Will Smith on his next project. However, Bieber kept the details sparse, saying, "We're trying to figure something out."

In addition to trying to re-team with pal Jaden and family, Bieber said that for his next album, he wants to work with his friend and fellow Canadian Drake. "[It'll] probably [come out] fourth quarter next year," he said. "Drake is gonna be on that album. I'm not sure [who else]. I'm gonna ask him if he can get [Lil] Wayne on there."

Chris Brown's BET Awards Breakdown Divides Viewers

Some think Brown's Michael Jackson tribute was sincere, while others view it as a sympathy ploy.

While Chris Brown's onstage breakdown during a Michael Jackson tribute at Sunday night's BET Awards likely left many viewers speechless, MTV News readers had plenty to say about the emotional tribute to the late King of Pop.

Many commenters weighed in on an MTV News story about the performance, during which Brown executed some spot-on Jackson choreography for "Remember the Time" and "Billie Jean" while modeling some of MJ's signature looks. He then cried and was unable to get out the lyrics to the moving "Man in the Mirror."

"He left his heart on that dance floor and when those tears dropped from his face, so did the audience around the world," Music4Ever wrote. "He truly gave that his all and showed Michael that he was his idol."

Kjabbamodern called Brown's performance "amazing" and said he was spot on. "When you watched the awards you truly felt the incredible spirit he had, and when he broke down, it was truly genuine. Anyone that cannot understand that and see his true spirit is seriously NOT human. [Brown] made a mistake. ... I hope people find it in their hearts to forgive this young man."

The performance was one of the most high profile for Brown since the singer pleaded guilty last summer in connection with his attack on former girlfriend Rihanna. Since then, he has struggled to get his career back on track, meeting with disappointing sales for his album, Graffiti, and recently being forced to cancel European dates when the conviction stopped him from obtaining a work visa in the U.K.

Not everyone was convinced of the emotional sincerity of Brown's teary display. "Publicity stunt ... so funny that most of these commenters don't even remember all the backlash MJ had to endure!!" Eddie wrote. "Where was the forgiveness then? So sad that a sick person like Chris can put on a show of 'tears' to a REAL MUSICIAN'S MUSIC to get sympathy. ... His tears were for what he lost, which I pray he will never get back!!!"

Insantity wasn't feeling it either, adding, "I guess you can beat the life out of women, as long as you 'cry' at a tribute show."

Rebel was less harsh about Brown's intentions, writing, "This young man has suffered ENOUGH. Just let him move on and remember that there is not one amongst us who has never made a mistake in their life."

The night included notable performances from Alicia Keys, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, T.I. and Diddy. But Shai182 said simply, "Chris Brown's performance was hands down the best performance of the night!!! He killed it!!!" And chickhappy23 opined, "MJ would have been proud & we know u'll hold true to your promise Chris."

MTV's readers weren't the only ones torn over the tribute from one of Jackson's most avowed young followers. The Los Angeles Times ran a poll of readers on its site, asking whether they bought Brown's performance. At press time, 39 percent said that "Chris was thinking only of Jackson and was choked up by his death," followed by 21 percent who countered, "Chris was 100% faking a breakdown to get sympathy." The rest of the vote was split between 12 percent who said, "Chris was 50% upset by Jackson's death and 50% over-acting to get sympathy," and 9 percent who thought, "Chris was 100% freaked out that he had a real singing gig again. It had nothing to do with Jackson or faking it."

'Kitchen Nightmares' Host Gordon Ramsay Reacts to Chef's Suicide

The sad news broke Monday that New Jersey chef Joe Cerniglia, who appeared on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, committed suicide after jumping from the George Washington Bridge. Now, Ramsay is speaking out on the death of the 39-year-old, who was chosen for the restaurant makeover show while Cerniglia was reportedly in $80,000 worth of debt.

"I was fortunate to spend time with Joe during the first season of Kitchen Nightmares," Ramsay said. "Joe was a brilliant chef, and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and staff."

Cerniglia -- who owned the restaurant Campania in Fair Lawn, NJ -- also left behind a wife and three children.

"We're doing as best we can be now, things are a bit crazy right now," an employee of Cerniglia's told E! News, adding that they were still open for business despite the tragedy.

Cerniglia was second of Ramsay's television show contestants to commit suicide, as Hell's Kitchen competitor Rachel Brown shot herself in her family's Dallas home in 2007.

Ne-Yo 'Doesn't Know What To Do' With Songs He Wrote For Michael Jackson

'I can't sell them on to someone else, as that would be disrespectful,' the singer said.

While producer Rodney Jerkins is expecting to begin work on an album of unreleased Michael Jackson music, Ne-Yo, on the other hand, isn't sure what to do with the material he wrote for the late King of Pop before MJ's death last year. The R&B singer/songwriter told Australia's Daily Telegraph that he was sending Jackson three or four drafts a week prior to his unexpected death. More than a year later, Ne-Yo now still stands at a crossroads as he contemplates what to do with the songs he created specifically for the one and only MJ.

"I can't sell them on to someone else, as that would be disrespectful, but I also think it might be disrespectful to bring them out myself. So I don't know, I'll sit on them and wait. It's definitely quality music but they were songs written absolutely for Michael Jackson."

According to the newspaper, Jackson hand-picked Ne-Yo as well as Black Eyed Peas producer Will.I.Am to work on his comeback album. It was only a matter of time before Ne-Yo was met face to face with his musical idol.

"I felt quite bad, as I'd allowed what the media had done to his name and image to have me thinking, 'OK, what's this about to be? Is this going to be weird?' " he recalled. "But he walked in a black suit and some sunglasses and was a genuine, nice guy. And it wasn't because he wanted something from me, he just had no reason other than to be a decent guy."

During their meeting, the duo talked about the current state of the music industry, something Ne-Yo says Jackson wasn't too pleased with. "He believed what was wrong with a lot of music today is that people aren't singing about anything. If it's not about a party or sex then it's about money, and there's not really much to that."

Ne-Yo, who has penned hits for Beyoncé and Rihanna as well as himself, explained that the entertainer wanted songs that were "melodic and meaningful." "Michael told me the melodies needed to be the ones you heard once and could sing back, and the lyrics needed to have meaning and depth," he said.

Unfortunately, Ne-Yo's submissions weren't recorded by Jackson, because the singer put his album on hold to rehearse for his This Is It concert series at London's 02 Arena before passing away.

But Ne-Yo has hope that one day he'll figure out what to do with the Jackson tracks. "Hopefully the songs will see the light of day, it just has to be the right way," he said.

Lindsay Lohan: Pondering Rehab Options

Set to give rehab another try within the next two days, Lindsay Lohan is in the process of deciding the best place to get the help she so desperately needs.
While insiders tell Radar Online that the "Mean Girls" star is still in denial, she has decided to check in for treatment before her October 22nd court date on a probation violation.
According to the Radar source, LiLo is currently leaning towards going to the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California - though no official decision has been made thus far.
In what will become her fifth go at getting professional help, the insider tells of the situation, "Lindsay is still in denial about being an addict and doesn't realize this disease can kill her. She is in denial about the power this disease has over her. Even though she has been to jail twice in recent months, it hasn't changed Lindsay's underlying behavior. Lindsay is willing to get help, but she doesn't seem to grasp the severity of her drug addiction."

Justin Premieres The Social Network Despite Being "Ridiculously Stupid" With Computers

Justin Timberlake and Jesse Eisenberg joined their The Social Network costars Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer on Friday for their premiere during NYC's Lincoln Center Film Festival. They posed posed on the red carpet and attended a screening before moving on to the afterparty at the Harvard Club, where JT stuck close to his mother, Lynne, and happily posed for photos with fans before calling it a night around 1 a.m. The guys were back together on Saturday to attend an early press conference with the movie's writer, Aaron Sorkin. They chatted about their own level of expertise with computers, and touched on the real life people who are now portrayed on the big screen. BREAKING NEWS: 4th Young Male Comes Forward In Bishop Eddie Long Sex Scandal! PLUS Bishop Long To Step Down Sunday?!

The Associated Press is reporting that a fourth young man has come forward saying Bishop Eddie Long coerced him into a sexual relationship.  Attorney B.J. Bernstein says she is filing a lawsuit today on behalf of the member of New Birth Charlotte. New Birth Charlotte is a satellite church run by Long in Charlotte, N.C. The man claims to have met the Bishop in May 2005.
The lawsuit says the Bishop took the teenager to Kenya in July 2005 when he was 17, and also engaged in sexual activities with him. It said that Long later encouraged him to move to Atlanta, where the activity continued until early 2009.

UPDATE:  The lawsuit was filed by Spencer LeGrande, a member of New Birth Charlotte.
The lawsuit said Long told LeGrande "I will be your dad" and invited the 17-year-old to journey to Kenya with him in July 2005. LeGrande said that Long gave him a sleeping pill on that trip and that the two engaged in sexual acts.
Long apparently convinced LeGrande that "engaging in a sexual relationship was a healthy component of his spiritual life."
Bishop Long is expected on Sunday to deliver the first public message since the men accused him of having sexual relationships with them. He has vehemently denied any wrongdoing through his lawyer and a Twitter posting.  Other sources report he may step down after giving his remarks.

?Eclipse? box office

Continuing along on the up-and-up, ?Eclipse? is still raking in big sales at the box office.

An updated estimate says the vampire flick earned $28.6 million on Friday (July 2) putting the sales at $121.3 million in its first three days of release.

According to box office estimates, for the standard, three-day weekend (Friday through Sunday), the film is projected to earn $80.2 million.

With Monday thrown in the mix, the four-day holiday weekend is expected to gross $106.1 million.

Bishop Eddie Long Accused Of Coercing Young Male Church Members Into Sex?!

Foolery is rampant in "the church"....again.  The well-known and well-respected Atlanta area spiritual figure, Bishop Eddie Long, has just been slapped with a lawsuit by young male members of his church who allege the Bishop has coerced them into sexual acts.

The senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which boasts over 30,000 members, has been accused of taking advantage of young males in the church.
Anthony Flagg, a 21-year-old church member, claims in this recent lawsuit that Bishop Eddie Long used his spiritual authority to coerce him into partaking in sexual acts.  According to CNN:
The suits, filed Tuesday in DeKalb County, Georgia, allege that Long used his position as a spiritual authority and bishop to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.
Long took one plaintiff, Anthony Flagg, 21, to overnight trips to a half dozen American cities, Flagg's suit alleges.
"Long shared a bedroom and engaged in intimate sexual contact with plaintiff Flagg including kissing, massaging, masturbating of plaintiff Flagg by defendant Long and oral sexual contact," the suit says.

Wow.  The plaintiffs have asked for an unspecified amount of damages, and accuse Bishop Long of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, amongst other things.  The Bishop and his spokesman deny all allegations saying:
"We categorically deny the allegations.  It is very unfortunate that someone has taken this course of action.  Our law firm will be able to respond once attorneys have had an opportunity to review the lawsuit."
Well this ought to get interesting.  Hide ya kids...hide ya wife...hide ya husband...

Home Sweet Hollywood star Dean McDermott, husband of Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling, has revealed his family's favorite time to bond - manicure/pedicure time!
McDermott shared that he and Spelling enjoy painting each others nails, telling In Touch Weekly, ?I call it ?Male Polish.? I mean we started doing each other?s nails and I love it, I?m wearing blue right now on my toes! I don?t know why everyone doesn?t do it!"
Spelling added, ?I wanted to paint my nails gun metal for the night, so I borrowed [Dean?s] nail polish."
Of the kids joining in on the fun, McDermott said, ?Whenever we can, they come get manicures and pedicures with us and they love it! Liam has blue and red on his toes like Spider-Man this week and green on his fingernails like The Hulk.?

Orlando Bloom Stays in Touch and in Character on Set

Orlando Bloom provided quite a contrast yesterday on the German set of The Three Musketeers as he checked his messages while wearing his elaborate, old-fashioned costume. He started work on the project last week after arriving overseas with his wife Miranda Kerr, who has already stopped by to visit Orlando and his costars between takes. She's making herself at home while Orlando's on location, getting ready to join the exclusive group of model moms that includes Gisele Bundchen and her son Benjamin.

"Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" NYC Premiere

Hitting the red carpet for the premiere of their upcoming movie, the stars of "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" were gathered together in New York City on Monday night (September 20).
With Shia LaBeouf, Michael Douglas, Carey Mulligan, Josh Brolin, Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella all at the Ziegfeld Theatre venue, the co-stars lined up arm-in-arm for photos before breaking apart to chat with press members.
Also on-hand for the NYC evening was actress Catherine Zeta Jones, who shared a warm kiss with husband Michael Douglas as he tended to promotions despite being in the midst of chemo treatments for throat cancer.

Jessica Takes Eric and Her Denim on the Road to North Carolina

Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Eric Johnson were together Friday to catch a flight from NYC to North Carolina. She had business to do Saturday afternoon in Charlotte, where she met with fans at a Belk's department store. Just like at her recent denim launch in NYC, Eric stuck close to Jessica's side. She still had time, though, to pose for photos with babies and tweet about buyers' cute looks. Once the event was over, Jess and Eric changed outfits and reported back to the airport to take off on their next adventure. Welcome To The Kitten Party At Caboodle Ranch

Craig Grant just wanted to give his cat Pepper his own space. So he created a small cat-sized town, populated with mini-buildings and streets for Pepper and the hundreds of other cats Grant has saved to live. Now Grant's cat sanctuary, Caboodle Ranch, houses more than 600 fancy felines, who are supported by Grant's love and care and the generous donations of volunteers. The Ranch includes a faux Walmart (complete with mini-shopping carts), a tiny town hall, and dozens of tiny houses, too small for humans but perfectly sized for kittens.

Eva Mendes Premieres "Last Night" in Toronto

Turning up on the red carpet, Eva Mendes joined co-star Sam Worthington at the premiere of "Last Night" in Toronto, Canada on Saturday (September 18).
Held at Roy Thomson Hall, the lovely co-stars greeted fans and press as they readied for their movie's debut as part of the 35th Toronto International Film Festival.
Directed by Massy Tadjedin, the romantic drama also stars "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress Keira Knightley.

Back in the day, I adored "Murphy Brown," the sitcom that starred Candice Bergen as an investigative journalist and newscaster at "FYI," returning to work at the show after a stay at the Betty Ford Clinic. Murphy was like Mary Tyler Moore with more attitude, a tough, wise-cracker who always got herself into hijinx—not to mention kicked out of the White House every year. ?Eclipse? box office

Continuing along on the up-and-up, ?Eclipse? is still raking in big sales at the box office.

An updated estimate says the vampire flick earned $28.6 million on Friday (July 2) putting the sales at $121.3 million in its first three days of release.

According to box office estimates, for the standard, three-day weekend (Friday through Sunday), the film is projected to earn $80.2 million.

With Monday thrown in the mix, the four-day holiday weekend is expected to gross $106.1 million.

Update: Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools have welcomed a son! The Celebrity Chef announced the exciting news on his Twitter:
it's a baby boy guys !!! im shock, were all very happy, mum was amazing and both are well and happy x4 kids!! What a great day!! Now I have to pretend to know about football!! All tips on boys [ac]cepted."
The proud papa also showed the below pictures of his newborn son.
Earlier today (September 15), we spotted the happy couple heading into the hospital. They are already parents to daughters Poppy, 8, Daisy, 7, and Petal, 1.

Lindsay is due in court today as part of her DUI probation terms, and it seems Lindsay Lohan is confident that she?s on the right track.The ?Mean Girls? babe did a video interview yesterday (May 23) in which she stated that she?s in compliance with the judge?s terms of probation and isn?t anticipating any push back from the court.Nervously, LiLo stated, ?I don?t see what reason I would go to prison for. I?ve been more than in compliance with everything having to do with the court system. I don?t see why I?d have to go to prison and the only person whose suggested anything like that is my father.?She continued, ?I wasn?t partying in Cannes. I was there for work. I was there promoting a film. I?ve been focusing on my work and getting my classes done, therefore, you know just to be able to start to film again so I can have this all put behind me.
